Our Story

After years living and working around the world, we kept finding ourselves drawn back to Western Australia's outback. What began over twenty years ago as personal travel and exploration soon became something we wanted to share.

We've spent decades travelling remote regions, learning the country, meeting its people, and experiencing the kind of places you only reach by going off-road. Over time, friends, family, and friends of friends started asking to join us—and then asking when the next trip was.

Proudback was created for that reason.

Using our firsthand experience of what actually makes an outback journey enjoyable, we built a small fleet of purpose-equipped Land Cruisers and designed itineraries that focus on access, comfort, and respect for the land. These are carefully planned, well-supported adventures through some of Western Australia's most remote and remarkable regions.

We run the kind of trips we would want to be on ourselves: unhurried, well-organised, and led by people who genuinely know the country. We value time, shared experiences, and travelling responsibly in places that deserve care.
