Camping deep in the golden outback
As this was a scouting trip, we did not have any guests with us. We were 2 adults and 3 children, aged between 8 and 16.
Tour Duration : 11 Nights
On this off-road adventure tour, we ventured into one of Western Australia’s lesser-known gems: the Kennedy Range. Starting from the tiny outpost of Gascoyne Junction, we tackled the challenging loop track through sandstone ridges, dry riverbeds and elevated canyons. This journey marked the first inclusion of the Kennedy Range in our Explorer itinerary, now a cornerstone for our 4WD tours in Western Australia.
Camping high on a ridge with panoramic views and a sky ablaze with stars, this trip delivered all the raw isolation and beauty the Golden Outback is known for. Despite its remoteness, our guests felt confident and safe thanks to Proudback’s expertise, equipment and guidance. It’s the perfect introduction to Australian outback 4×4 trips: remote, rugged, and real.
